LEARNING TO EXPRESS DIFFERENT EMOTIONS
Your child is just learning to express different emotions and you can help them through these confusing feelings. Use story-time as a good platform to convey different emotions and observe how your child feels at different points of the story.
Step 1: Instead of simply reading a story from the book, you can use your child’s toys to make characters in the book come alive or you can even make fascinating sock puppets. There’s a whole range of fun things you can do to make the story seem more exciting.
Step 2: Use toys or sock puppets to tell the story by acting out emotions such as anger and frustration while teaching your child how to control these emotions in different situations.
