So I'm Daniel. I've been working for Nestlé for 13 years. I'm responsible for the quality management, which includes two main teams. It's about quality assurance and also about quality control. For me, quality is not only about meeting the requirements of a standard. I need to be confident myself in our products, that I would also give this product to my own child and to my own baby.

So my team is releasing the raw material at the end. We test around about 100 parameters to release one batch. This testing takes into account always the recent knowledge, and it can happen that we need to adapt also our analytical portfolio.

So for the oils, for example, we now have a new parameter on the certificate of analysis, and when this parameter is signed, then we can release these raw materials for production. If one of the analytical parameters does not meet the requirements, we are not allowed to release the raw material for production.
